Before the Class:
Scenes will be sent to students
Students will prepare and memorize chosen/assigned scene
During the Online Webinar :
Begin with a warm-up for physical work as well as voice and speech

COMEDY AND DRAMA FABULOUS FOCUS FOR FILM AND TV
4 WEEKS TOTAL
2 WEEKS COMEDY AND 2 WEEKS DRAMA
This class is called FABULOUS FOCUS because the actors will be able to cover many great skills
in 4 classes. All classes will touch on all aspects of the work: warm-up, imagination,
improv, cold reading, scene analysis, and character for film and TV. This class is power packed with technique and creative impact.
Class 1: Multi-Camera comedy tone and preparation.
This is a must for young actors to understand the tone of the material and genre for their best work. It’s a great class to challenge your knowledge if you think you already understand about tone. Or, it's must to learn about.
Class 2: Single-camera comedy tone and preparation. How different is the close up for
for comedy with one camera as opposed to multi camera tone. Understand the differences in the process and execution. Many actors say they know the differences and
then they don’t do it in the work.
Class 3: Dramatic tone for tv and film for sensitivity and vulnerability. This class will
focus on playing more subtlety in dramatic characters to learn to stand out more.
It’s all in the detail of how an actor uses and applies their imagination.
Class 4: OMG CRYING AND DYING?! All young actors ask about these types of scenes and characters who experience these things and want to learn more about it. This class will take on that challenge!

Joey will work with each participant live through the webinar on their prepared scenes
Closing talk with kids and parents (Q & A)
AFTER THE WEBINAR:
Actors will pick either the comedy or drama scene to record & upload implementing ALL notes from live session
Joey will then view and take final notes on- progress, things to work on, etc. which will be emailed out to each person individually!
