TWO-DAY BEHIND THE SCENES OF AUDITIONING and VIRTUAL CALLBACKS VIA ZOOM CLASS with CASTING DIRECTOR AMBER HORN, CSA  

Amber will show actors the intricacies of doing callbacks via ZOOM. Amber has been doing callbacks, producer sessions, network and studio tests on ZOOM, and she wants to teach helpful skills to actors how to tackle this new virtual audition world.

DAY #1 – BEHIND THE SCENES OF AUDITIONING – 2.5 HOURS 

Learn the skills necessary to hook Casting Directors and Producers in the first 30-seconds of your audition! In this class, Amber will break down her fundamental concepts to help actors make strong connections during their audition. She will reveal her actual process as a casting director, giving insider information on the entire process. 

Since the pandemic, the casting process has changed a bit. Amber will show everyone how she is adapting and will show actors some Zoom audition tips! 

Whether you are already a series regular or just getting started, this class will provide a new point of view on the audition process. After the first class, all actors will receive a homework assignment / self-tape. This self-tape will be evaluated at the start of Day #2 during the “mock callbacks via Zoom” class.

DAY #2: MOCK VIRTUAL CALLBACKS – 2.5 HOURS 

Amber will start by showing the actors how creators and producers think during callbacks and what actors can do to make them the undeniable choice for the role. Amber will host a “mock virtual callback session” via Zoom and show everyone tips along the way to make the entire experience easier on the actor. Actors will be able to practice the entire virtual audition process with Amber Horn.
