About Joey Paul Jensen’s 3 Day Voice Over Class

(Ages: 8 & Up! All ages welcome)

This Virtual Class is Designed to set you up with an In-Home Voice Over Studio

& Provide Students with a Recording to Start their VO Demo by the end of the Session!

In this class we will focus on the creativity and technique of:

• Voice Warm

• Pitch

• Delivery

• Emotion

• Timing

• Pronunciation

• And Spontaneity!

Class Details and Format:

BERFORE…

• Your in-home V/O studio equipment will be sent to you after registration (All yours to keep!)

• A choice of scenes are sent prior to the session- Each actor will choose:

  • 1. Commercial script

  • 1. Animation script

  • 1. PSA Script

• Prep your scripts for the online session- be memorized & make choices!

• PARTICIPATE IN A SET UP SESSION: Optional to attend but recommended! Join us online to view a trial run of the recording process, equipment, and software you will be using! Watch an example of the recording and ask any questions you may have before the online session (est. 15-30 minute zoom meeting)

• Arrive to the session 5 minutes prior to start time and be ready to take lots of notes!

DURRING…

Session 1:  Voiceover techniques including: Improv, cold reads for animation, audio books and commercials. Plus creating characters + learning accents

Session 2: Work assigned scenes with Joey Paul Jensen in preparation to record your demo!

Recording Session: Each actor is given an assigned time slot to log on and record their work with Joey Paul Jenson and our Technician online to receive the highest quality recording to start your demo! (JOEY WILL BE GIVING LIVE REDIRECTIONS TO ENSURE A GREAT PERFORMANCE DURING THE RECORDING SESSION)

AFTER THE WEBINAR…

• Actor’s voice recordings will go through a final editing stage through our technician to ensure a clean and enhanced audio file

• All recordings will be sent to each actor individually to use as a VO sample on your online acting profiles or upload as the start of a demo!
